oh these are so soothing -- what is it about closeups that can make us relax (me, anyway)? -- maybe the very intensity of it is like an escape. These are very very special. And I'm so envious of your skill with that setting. I'm still trying to figure mine out. Maybe reading the directions would help.

But even without the camera, your "eye" sees these, the potential for them -- and that's talent.
Have a good rest, close those eyes. Or take a picture of them? :)

beautiful photos... what book is that?

hope you get some sleep today. for once, i was able to sleep from 9 pm til 5:40 am. i'm not going to let myself nap this morning. i have grand ambitions-- hit the gym, go shopping, watch a movie, study....
lovely pics. to see the settings, go to file info in photoshop under 'advanced'. actually, i have a feature that lets me read the EXIF info on your pic. :D

Lovely photographs :))
Your photos are gorgeous. The leaf has real "wow" factor!
:) Thank you.

I HATE reading directions. Glad to know I have good company.
It is Arms and the Man. I've loved that book since I was thirteen.

Wow...thats pretty cool. I don't have photoshop, but now that they have the free express version, I plan to register.
I love the color..its such a royal, perfect purple!

Awesome photos purplesque! I really like the simple purple petal of the tulip, wonderful composition and use of color, light and shadows.
Thank you..I'm really glad you liked it! I first spent some time trying to take the picture with the petal on A's hand, but this one came out better.
This one sure is a keeper. I could see it printed and framed!

These three photos are stunning! I gotta learn how to use my camera better. Can I use your photos to make my next banner?

Accidental discoveries - what could be better? I once found an empty, addressed envelope in a highschool yearbook from the 1920's.

The blood oranges are magnificent - when I went on and on counting the different colors within a square inch, I knew I was looking at something special.

lol -- reading the directions is the last thing I do, usually -- only if nothing else works.
Of course you can..I'll be all proud and gloat-y and insufferable! :)
Yes..I've found a few old letters in books over the years, and one thing stands out in particular...we're forgetting how to write.

You are showing people how powerful writing can be, how eloquent, how telling.

And I need to stop using italics and capitals for emphasis.
Congratulations on your photo quest result!!! Your leaf looks awesome on my big screen!

I thought we built temples for humans all the time.. 33 crore isn't quite enough, is it? :)
